Little BEES Preschool Program
Preschool children should experience a safe, comfortable environment where they are free to explore. they learn best through active interaction with others and through a variety of natural and appropriate experiences.
This section includes information on our early childhood program at Troy Crossroads Elementary School.
Preschool children need opportunities to become responsible and resourceful learners through a balance of child and teacher initiated activities. Our Early Childhood Program offers, creativity, independence, and problem-solving abilities. The team's role is to assist students with integrating these qualitities to become happy and self assured learners. Program Information
Class Hours
AM Classes 8:50 a.m. - 11:20 a.m.
PM Classes 12:35 p.m. - 3:05 p.m.

 
Early Childhood Program Preschool for All Program
Ages range from 3-5 years Ages range from 3-5 years
Students with special needs attend Monday - Friday Students attend Monday - Friday
Community Students attend Tuesday and Thursday

 
Benefits of an Inclusive Classroom
According to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYS), children in inclusive classrooms demonstrate:
Increased acceptance and appreciation of diversity
Develop an increase in communicational language skills
Show greater development in moral and ethnical principles
Create warm and caring friendships
Demonstrate increased self-esteem
Inclusion promotes positive social outcomes for children with disabilities.  In addition, children with disabilities show increased competence in an inclusive setting.
